In my mind, Sundays are always soon. No matter what ridiculousness the world may bestow upon me during the week, Sundays are my day to do what makes me happy.
This often includes endless marathons of The Office and chamomile tea. A perfect combo, if I should say so myself.
Here are a couple things that I do on Sundays to make sure the rambunctious mind of Nia Simone stays in tact:
- Keep track of my hydration throughout the day
- Brainstorm blog ideas for the rest of the week (they don’t have to be amazing; as long as they’re there)
- Listen to some (The Internet/SZA/Frank Ocean/ (older) The Weeknd) on Spotify
- Watch a new movie on Netflix (that can often be hard to find, but I stumble upon one I’m interested in eventually)
- Take a selfie (Cause why not?)
And more importantly of all,
6. Relax
How do y’all spend your days off? Is it more preparation than relaxation, or the other way around? Let me know in the comments section below.
xoxoxo
P.S. here’s some throwback drizzy drake to relax you further (and probably get you in your feelings)
I like this. Also the part where you said possible blog post and they don’t have to be great but there.
So many great ways! I love to watch a new Netflix movie or show on the weekends too- it’s very relaxing!
You’re sunday sounds relaxing for real. After church I usually lounge around, catch up on shows, plan my week and journal. Sunday is also the only day I let myself take a nap lol
You just got my whole life!! SZA & throwback The Weeknd music?! Let’s be best friends haha
Girl I’m with you on that!! lol
Sundays mean relaxing for me as well. Though I should try to be a bit more organised because Sunday evening is often a scramble trying to get things done before the week starts. I like the Sunday Selfie idea, that would be fun to look back on at the end of the year.
Sounds like a great day off! I like to drink my iced coffee on the lanai with my cats, do some yoga, plan the week, do a little lesson planning for work and blog planning, and hang out with my boyfriend. I love the weekend!
All good ideas! Sometimes my Sundays are relaxing, but other times they are a bit more busy. It all depends, but I like just hanging out and reading if I can. 🙂
